I recently read a story about a man who fought off a shark who had attacked him.
According to cbs.com, William Lytton said he’d been swimming in about 8 to 10 feet of water, when he felt an incredible pain shoot through his left leg and quickly realized he was being attacked by a shark.
The 61-year-old neurologist from Scarsdale, New York, said he gave the animal a strong smack in the gills with his left hand. This move more than likely saved his life, but also resulted in him tearing some of his tendons.
Apparently, Mr Lytton credited his response to a nature documentary he had seen awhile ago, which explained that the gills were one of the most vulnerable parts of the shark.
This story reminds me of my message today, as you go about your day, anticipate that the enemy is ALWAYS up to his same bag of tricks…his mission is to KILL, STEAL and DESTROY. I don’t want you paranoid, but Satan is hoping you will buy in on the lie.
The lie you may ask? Yes, he wants you to believe and say “You aren’t worth it”, “You aren’t good enough”. He wants you to believe “What can go wrong, will go wrong for you “.
The enemy wants you to believe you need PERMISSION…. PERMISSION to PLAN, LEARN and LIVE.
He wants you to GIVE UP and GIVE IN. He is trying to suck the life from you and have you do your MINIMUM rather than MAXIMUM ability.
Why does that matter? Well, striving for minimum can only amount to a MEDIOCRE LIFE..thats all.
So what should you do? Like the man who fought the shark and used ALL he had to accomplish MAXIMUM RESULTS…HE CHANGED HIS PREDICAMENT. I want you to Fight….
Fight for what rightly belongs to YOU.. Fight For your PEACE, JOY, DREAMS and FREEWILL.
How exactly do you fight? Live life authentically. Be the best you possible. Live each moment as if your life depended on it, because it does….what you do now are deposited into your future. So..PLAN, LEARN and LIVE. Use what is within your power.
Make a DECISION and DO it. Hit the enemy where it really counts and TAKE WHAT RIGHTLY BELONGS TO YOU…Your Life.
