“There is something either leading you away or leading you towards Destiny.”- Carol Sligh.

If you haven’t noticed my pen and paper are in a relationship, and whenever two things meet or two things connect, there is an adding or taking away.

Hopefully, I am meeting my goal and I add to your life.

I think that we can also both agree, remaining the same, or stagnant is never a positive thing.

Well February is Valentines month and it’s known as the “Month of Love”… Happy Valentines.

Love is not just loving yourself, but loving yourself enough for others.

As you love yourself and take time to invest in improving you, which includes your health, mind and longevity, your family will also reap the benefits and you will be around long enough to enjoy it with them…

I want to give a special cyber hug to my loving husband, my beautiful daughter and all my family (you know who you are). I love you all very much.

You see, when two people come together, something is going to happen. When great minds meet, a “synergy” occurs.

What exactly is Synergy?  According to the Meridian-Webster dictionary – “Synergy is often defined as the creation of a whole, which is greater than the sum of its parts”. In other words, More can always be accomplished together, than apart. The power of two.

If you haven’t noticed, you are shifting from something natural to something greater. You have greatness within.

Are you willing to be stretched? Change is inevitable in everyone’s life, but is it the change you want?

My goal is to encourage, empower and equipe you to be a better you, for your family, friends and those who will be positively influenced by you, yet they will never meet you.

When two connect let’s just say people there is either an adding or taking away. There is a leading from or leading towards destiny.

Don’t believe me? Look at the relationships in your life. If you are serious about destiny, purpose, and fulfilling God’s plan for your life on earth, you will realize…. it’s time to take inventory.

So I have a relationship with many things from writing, family, friends, food even money.. totally different talk for another day, but you have relationships with many things also. Are they healthy?

Well, before you begin to throw all your relationships away and make any rash decisions, first of all remember, you can pick your friends, but can’t always choose family. We also need food to survive, we eat to live, not live to eat. I think it’s time to make changes (sigh)

It’s important to always have a clear perspective, and identify each individual’s motives. We also may need to make necessary changes, inorder to improve our life, create a healthier mindset and live longer.

This has nothing to do with whether you love your family or dislike certain things. It does have everything to do with whether you love yourself enough to make healthy lifestyle changes.

When it comes to people, we are mandated to always love others, even if it is from a distance.

Abraham took inventory…. As a result, he parted ways with Lot. Following that decision…then God spoke.

Gen 13:5-13 states “Now Lot,who was moving about with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents. But the land could not support them while they stayed together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to stay together. And quarreling arose between Abram’s herders and Lot’s.”

Its not that certain people in your life are not good, it’s just that they are not always good for you or the destiny upon your life…

During the month of February learn to love someone enough to let them go and love yourself enough to lighten your load. You’re both enroute to destiny, they are just destined for somewhere else.

This month be grateful for what you have, had and recognize the difference and when it’s time to let go.

Love,

Carol.
